On Monday, MGM Resorts International announced that the Delano will be converted into W Las Vegas as part of their partnership with Marriott Bonvoy.

MGM Resorts International and Marriott International have announced plans to transform the Delano tower on the Las Vegas Strip into W Las Vegas by the end of 2024. The 43-story, 1,117-room property, originally called THEhotel at Mandalay Bay before being rebranded as Delano in 2014, will officially join the W Hotels portfolio under Marriott Bonvoy.

Marriott International, Inc. and MGM Resorts International have entered into an agreement to convert a hotel on Las Vegas’s Mandalay Bay Campus into the W Las Vegas, which will open later this year. W Las Vegas is part of the two companies’ long-term strategic licensing agreement that was announced in July 2023 and began in March of this year.
