FORT LAUDERDALE — An investigation is underway after a person was hospitalized following a shooting involving a police officer in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday afternoon.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police identified a man Tuesday who they said was shot dead outside of a warehouse in Fort Lauderdale last week. Fort Lauderdale police said officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1600 block of Southwest Third Avenue just after 11:20 a.m. on Jan. 16.

A Fort Lauderdale man was gunned down after he and five other people were shot after an altercation at a Palm Beach County gathering early Sunday, according to police.

Gregory Bradford, 44, of Sunrise, was killed in a shooting outside of business warehouses in Fort Lauderdale last week, police said.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police identified a man Tuesday who they said drowned in Fort Lauderdale’s New River over the weekend. According to Fort Lauderdale police, officers responded to a call around 2:40 a.m. Saturday near Las Olas Boulevard and the Wharf after receiving reports of a man in the water calling for help.

The shooting occurred just after 3 p.m. at a Chevron gas station located at 3100 Davie Blvd., according to Fort Lauderdale police.

One person was shot by a Fort Lauderdale Police Department officer Sunday, but no information was immediately available about what caused the incident. The shooting happened at about 3 p.m. Sunday, according to Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokeswoman Casey Liening.
