Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed outside of Georgetown for a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon, according to the Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office. The interstate is closed at mile marker 227, just west of Georgetown, so that first responders can access the accident, sheriff’s officials said at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday.

A multi-vehicle crash closed the eastbound lanes of I-70 just west of Georgetown on Tuesday afternoon. The closure is between exit 226 Silver Plume and exit 228 County Road 381. Eastbound traffic was at a standstill according to the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office.

Eastbound I-90 at Snoqualmie Pass was closed at milepost 47 on Monday following multiple spinouts and collisions, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. While westbound lanes remain open, traction tires are required for all vehicles traveling in that direction.

Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed just west of Georgetown on Tuesday afternoon because of a crash. The closure goes from Silverthorne, at mile marker 205, to the crash site at mile marker 227, according to the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office.
