The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was killed after a shooting in Northwest D.C. on Sunday morning. Police said that they responded to the 1400 block of 18th Street for the report of a shooting.

WASHINGTON (7News) — A man is dead after a shooting in a Southeast, D.C. neighborhood Sunday morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. The shooting was reported on the 1400 block of 18th Street, police said. When officers responded to the scene, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

An alarming shooting incident in Northwest DC has prompted authorities to seek public assistance in identifying the suspects involved.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was arrested in connection to a shooting that happened in Southwest D.C. Police said that on August 7 at about 9:30 a.m., they responded to the Unit block of Forrester Street,

Police said, around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting near 38th and Ellis, and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

A man was killed in a shooting in Springfield early Saturday morning, according to police. Officers responded to the 100 block of Nursery Street around 12:35 a.m. for a report of gunfire, a spokesperson for Springfield police wrote on social media.
