Question: full well known by the suffering of Jews and Poles, with respect, does the Museum cover Pomerania ie Danzig before, during and towards the end of the war. If the story is going to be told, it is worth a balanced presentation.

The museum is a very good WW2 general museum. It does focus more on Polish history than most museums (obviously) but not in the detail you have indicated. The partisan section is very good as this is often neglected from history. The museum at Kolobzeg and the Westerplatz are very good and worth and definately worth a visit if coming from Australia.

I wld say definitely book in advance as despite our hotel receptionist phoning & being assured we didn't need to book, we arrived at 10.40 to be told next time available to book was 13.00 and by midday all tickets were sold for whole day.This is a must see exhibition
