Hi Laura, We were in San Pedro de Atacama in early October 2022 and we had a tour to Valle de Luna (as well as multiple other tours) at that time. I believe the tour would operate in August and September but it would be best to contact a tour agent to confirm. There are many operators located in the town all offering the various tours. Just google tour operators San Pedro de Atacama and select one. May be click on the map and look at the companies. Alternatively you could also wait until you arrive in San Pedro and make a choice then if you prefer. They all seemed good and are pretty much all located in the main strip. Hope this helps.

Hi, we booked the whole trip and tours through an agent, but we did check all tours separately online as well. Just type in the name of the tour/area you want to visit and you should get something to come - Viatour usually covers most tours. Or as they say above, loads of tour companies available in San Pedro - but find a company that does small buses, nothing worse than being with a large crowd of 20+ on a tour. Chile Roads are good and use small mini vans with max 8-10 and often less. You don't reserve a slot - just be there and hope its a clear evening.
