Great spot for panarama over the city. Easiest way to get there is to get Bus 12 from outside SMN stazione. No ticket needed as you can tap on with credit card (don’t tap off again - it’s just a city…Full review by Barry K

Great view and fresh air. Nice churches and bars. Went up taking bus 12 and walked down. Nice fountains and water cascades too. Not to be missed rain or shine.Full review by Alessio C

Much of it is in English, but the Italian version contains the more up-to-date transport network map. Search for Firenze bus map I believe you can buy bus tickets at local shops, like Tabacchi

I am sorry to say I have never counted them. From Ponte Vecchio, 1.1 miles to the Piazza de Michelangelo.
