I’d imagine that you could take your dog into the grounds of Crookston Castle but unless you strapped him to your back there is no way you’d be able to take him to the top of the castle parapets.The access........if you imagine is more loft ladder access than stairs,i think your four legged friend would be happier on the grass as was my hubby
My late father , an American soldier, was stationed at the castle briefly just before the Normandy Invasion in 1944. I would be interested in knowing how the soldiers were quartered, if there is any information from that time.
