I've lived near Chillicothe 20 years now and I've seen the steady decline of this park... Not so much the facilities as they try to make improvements, but in the way the citizens take care of the par…Full review by johnbaemel61

I'd Recommend the Flood Wall just above the park. Park: You can run loops at the park, but there is not a designated track around the park for walking or running. It has a "through street" and curved streets where traffic is usually not a big problem depending on events. There are some sidewalks that can be used for portions of your walk or run. FLOOD WALL: Just up the hill STEPS from the "Pump House" turn right on the flood wall you have a paved path that is about 3 miles out and back. There is a turnaround at the end it runs along the Scioto River. It is popular for walking, running and biking. If you turn LEFT at the top of the steps the trail will cross SR104 and go into the woods along 104 and goes all the way to Frankfort. I've walked this trail, but not the distance to Frankfort. It should be a great bike ride. Sorry that I didn't see this sooner!
