This location for a hike, never disappoints! If you've never been, this is a really beautiful spot! The first part of the hike is steep, but then eases off a bit, and the views are spectacular!!! Full review by hourys2021

Great hike with beautiful views! We took the 1.4 mile hike up to the tower. Tower is only open Fridays through Monday so we weren’t able to go in. Very good hike, steep at first then levels off. G… Full review by cosmo321

Is there a fee for touring the castle?
A:
No, but it's only open until Labor Day. Tomorrow is their Heublein open house - they usually have food, German music, etc.

It was closed when we were there in May, seemed like I remember it opening after Memorial Day.
