Hello. Thank you for your interest in the 3RR. If your grandparents don't like Halloween this trainride might not be a good fit for them. We have decorated each of the cars in a different Halloween/autumn theme. We do not have anything scary (no skeletons, eyeballs, blood etc.) but it is definitely centered around the season. We also feature a story called "The Phantom Railway" which is based on the work chants of early American track crews but has lots of Halloween references. I think our Christmas trains might be a better fit for them, unless they aren't holiday people in general. If you want to visit the train and walk through it to see if it works for you we can arrange that. Thanks and best regards- 3RR
