When I was there we saw "rat", but, nothing that might have been dog! Bear in mind this is an Agricultural market. If you are after clothes and accessories do your shopping in Saigon
Planning to go to the Mekong Delta in May and would like to know how we can get from Cai Be to Sa Dec using public transportation or cheap option to take the boat avoiding the touristic pre-arranged cruises?

I personally would skip Cai Be. It is nothing like the Sadec market. Except it is floating. There are no tuk tuk's and I saw no cabs. You might could rent a motor bike but you' sure …
