Guillermo was a great tour operator. Really knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Had very good energy and was always willing to adjust to our preferences. Full review by Andrew R

The ‘all day Península Valdés’ and ‘whale watching’ are sold as two tours when really it is just one tour - this makes it very expensive with park entrance fees too. The whale watching was good, but … Full review by EileenO516

Hi there, we visited the Peninsula on a Princess Cruises full day shore excursion by coach. It took about 9 hours and to be honest once in on the Peninsula the scenery was a bit monotonous until one reached the Seal sanctuary, the penguin nestings and the elephant seal beach. You can drive around this area all year round, but I recommend you take your own supplies for the day as there are very few villages and no real towns. I think you need to pay an entrance fee to the World Heritage Site. Our coach broke down on the way back as evening fell and it felt very isolated waiting for the relief coach to come from Puerto Madryn. Hope this is of some help.

Hi, does anybody have any recommendation for an affordable private tour to Peninsula Valdes? I am looking at being at Caleta Valdes with high tie to maybe be able to see orcas on Nov 2nd. Due to tie timeschedule regular tours won't make it and renting a car is also difficult due to weekend times. I have been in Valdes previously and done tour and whale watching so this time I was hoping to see killer whales. Any suggestions are welcome

The good area to see orca stranding is at Punta Norte, normally we need to wait there two hour before and 2 hours after the high tide. You can’t just go there for a while. So it is difficult to follow tour. It’s best to rent a car from airport and allow at least two days or more, just in case you can’t see on the first day. We saw orcas stranding on the second day at Punta Norte at very closed distance for two times. This is an experience of a life time.
