No offense meant. But is it safe to go there? I remember when i was in college, its a secluded place. My brother went there for a project with securities. And that was like 15yrs ago.

No i dont think its safe. I would not recommend a visit to this place at this time, unless you have security escorts and/or peace has been brokered with the lawless elements. Kidnapping and hijacking remain the biggest problem. The vast stretch from Zamboanga to Malamawi beach provide the criminals with very good opportunities to do their thing... We were lucky as we were given ample security.
