It is approximately 3 miles, very pretty and easy to walk and a few places to take a break. There are websites that you can get information about it. hope this helped you a bit.

Dogs are definitely allowed! I've seen a bunch of dogs running alongside joggers and bicyclists or walking with their humans.

Yes, the Daily Grind is in the downtown area. And I believe Red Brick Deli is now serving breakfast, also downtown.
