A nice little scenic hike that was easy to do with our 7 year old. Beautiful and worth it to take the time out to go on this hike. You can wade through the water a little too. The road is a little na…Full review by anjelina55

Questions & answers

Q:
About how long to the swimming area? Can a slightly handicapped person do it?
A:
No swimming here. Too dangerous.
Q:
Is there a fee to get in to the waterfalls
A:
We didn’t pay for parking or the trail but we went on a weekday. Not sure if weekends are different. There are literally only 5 parking spots.
Q:
Is this a good hike / trail for dogs on a leash?
A:
I would say yes. It is a fairly short trail to the falls and not an especially steep or rugged trail. It is a beautiful sight.

The Minnehaha Trail (.4 mile) follows Fall Branch until it deadends at Minnehaha Falls which is approximately 100 feet high, falling and shoaling. Take U.S. 23/441 north from Tallulah Falls for 3 miles to the Rabun Beach Recreation Area sign. Turn left onto Old 441 & go 2.5 miles. Take left on Lake Rabun Rd. Go 1 mile past R.A. Take left on Low Gap Rd at Flat Creek Community sign. Follow Bear Gap Rd (forks left). Go 1.5 miles. Sign on right side of road marks trail. I have been here and it is gorgeous!! I'm heading that way tomorrow (Sun). ENJOY! Terri Reese
