Visited Pokonobe Marina on Aug 30, 2024. I found the staff to be self-important and rude. There's not much here. Avoid this business.Full review by MartyLima

I camped at Coldwater Creek, across the road from Lake Mary. It is an easy walk from campground to Lake. Fun to watch fishermen, kayakers, and see others walking the area. There is a lodge and store …Full review by Curiosity776424

One of the most visited lake, very great view and picnic area. Take the free trolley from Mammoth Village to the lake, it was quick ride around 10 minutes ride.Full review by HARTONO T
I'm pretty sure it does but I'm not up there in the winter. Best to go on the resorts page and ask the source. Fishing closes in the Eastern Sierra in November and re-opens in April

Only Tamarack owned and operated by mammoth mountain has a view of twin lakes. None of them are actually hotels as one would assume with amenities and 24 hour service, though they are cabins- if you’re looking for a hotel you have to go into town you could find really nice accommodations in the Village And across the street is the Westin. I Imagine if you’re on one of the top floors of the Westin you might be able to catch a glimpse of some of the lakes. But, if you rent a cabin across from lake Mary your across the road from the lake with gorgeous panoramic views. Summer rentals only however. It’s closed during winter. Hope that helps
I'm taking my mom (70 years old) & 3 young kids (very young). Is it enjoyable with ppl that age?

We saw people of all ages on the trails around Lake Mary and that was in the winter snow. If the roads are open, it's an easy drive and there are picnic tables near the road and parking. There are views of the lake and peaks. Be sure to ask the park attendants for a map with trails and what's best for grandma and grandkids! Have a wonderful visit.. You may also want to go to Bodie Ghost town, Mono Lake, and Devil's Postpone National Monument, all north of Mammoth Lakes on Hwy395.
