We all loved the experience. Too many people, though but we had a chance to see two active dragons, one pretty sedated (just guessing) and a little one by the rocks nearby the beach.Full review by Happiness60290815521

A ship will be docked in the waters around Komodo Island. It is not docked at the pier(the pier is too small for a cruise ship). Access to Komodo Island is restricted. Based on our experience, Viking would not let us tender to the Island unless you were on an excursion(which was included). You need to check with your cruise line's policy. Also note due to issues with poaching, Komodo Island will be closed to tourism starting in 2020(there were several articles in April regarding this, just Goggle).
