It is more than 300 km from Vilnius. You can go there by bus, train or car. Car+navigator is most comfortable choice. But not the cheapest one. When you reach Klaipeda, then you have to take ferry to Smiltyne. You can take ferry with your car too. But į suggest to leave car in town. On the other side you will have a nice 2 km walk until you reach sea museum.
