Hello! Is there a certain time visitors must leave the park?

Does the road around the Snaefellsjokull pennisula require 4WD? Will be driving the first week in September. Traveling from Budir off Ring Road to Olasvik.
A:
No- it's a regular highway like the ring road. There's a road up to the Snaefellsjokul glacier that would require a 4wd. All smaller roads off the main highway were fine with our 2wd.
