Sioux Falls has been our home for over 100 years. In 1910 Emil Hanson and his wife Agnes moved to Sioux Falls and purchased a portrait studio. In 1938 their two sons, Harold and Howard, opened a second location and added camera sales and photofinishing. As amateur photography grew, so did Harold's Photography with additional retail locations and a wholesale photofinishing lab. Today, the fourth generation of the Hanson family continues to transform the business into a complete photographic supply store and a modern photofinishing factory with a major online presence. Over the last century, the only constant has been our desire to provide the region the best quality images, equipment and advice.
