It’s a windy single track road to get down to where the trailhead begins. The trail is well marked and in good shape. There is a cafe and small shop. There is a set of modern public toilets.Full review by BLT1991

A little harder to get to, in regards to the steepness of the trail. But worth it to see the cascade of water dropping straight down into the pool below. Would definitely recommend (if able) to head …Full review by Getaway36654161222

On a warm day, this was a nice shady walk, with a bit of an incline upon the return but conveniently located to the car park, public toilets and a small shop and ice-cream station.Full review by TheTimeIWent
Will have our 1yr old and 3yr old. 1yr old will be in a carrier/worn so no concern, but would a 3yr old be ok managing some/most of this or do you think we'll end up carrying both kiddos? Thanks!

I would say it's fairly steep and there are some handrails. This was our first visit and it really depends on the level of mobility issues. I have osteoarthritis and use a stick so just took my time and made it to the first viewing platform. I'd say it's worth a try and easy enough to turn round if it's not right for you.
How long a car drive from Inverness to (parking lot of) Loch Ness waterfalls?
A:
Hi maybe 40 minutes. We came from waterfalls to Fort Augustus and up to Inverness...if you do that in reverse it's a lovely drive...safe side? Allow an hour..regards
Hi what is the parking like here and what's the charge? Also, is it a circular walk and how long does it take / how long should we allow? Thanks :)
A:
Parking was pretty plentiful. We were there in September and there was ample parking. Can't recall charge which means it wasn't expensive! Yes it's a circular walk- there and back …
Parking was pretty plentiful. We were there in September and there was ample parking. Can't recall charge which means it wasn't expensive! Yes it's a circular walk- there and back again. I'd allow at least an hour, depends on your walking speed and how long you spend admiring the sights on the way.
