Once you pay to get in, can you walk around and explore the farm on your own or do you have to take a tour to see the farm? What can see on your own? We will be passing through and will not have a lot of time. Also, the tour reviews are all very good, however, are they geared more towards people from cities who have never been on a farm? We have some farming background and don’t want to waste our precious time there on a tour if it isn’t worth it for someone with farm experience. Thanks!

Hi there! The museum like buildings and birthing barn are all self guided. To see the actual farm though you will need to take bus tours to see them! Guests from all over seem to enjoy the experience regardless of their background. (Farmers included) We recently opened our Robotic Dairy experience as well adding to our growing herd of over 37,000 cows! I hope this helps in making your decision!
