Welcome to Aberdeenshire in bonnie Scotland Bea King learned to crochet in 2013 by making a granny square, as you do! Once the hook was picked up, it never really got put down again. Bea taught herself the skill of amigurumi, pattern writing and counting… a lot of counting!!! Once the house was filled with animal heads and toys, Jim (Bea's other half) helped open this shop so others can enjoy Cottontail & Whiskers amigurumi creations while we hope to care for our family. Colour is a huge influence, which is why you’ll find a rainbow of variety. What started out with basic animal heads has grown, becoming more confident in creating complex and detailed soft sculptures. I love the challenge and the satisfaction when a piece is complete.
