We were not total beginners (one with a lot of experience, one with one session of experience), but they did give instruction to one other participant who was a beginner, and she seemed to have a good time. The snorkeling was from the boat (had a ladder to get in and out) - although it was a relatively short swim to shallow water and the beach.
We will be arriving at 1:30pm. Is it likely that we will be able to catch the 2pm boat from St. Thomas to St. John?
