Hi fiona, yes there are sites where you can camp but you have to bring your own tent. Camping can be done in Sabtang Island. January is one of the coldest months. It's windy as well.

Pls call up Budget Local Tours or look it up on facebook. Highly recommended. Weather in Batanes was just comfortable, although it s advsable to bring with you a wind breaker.
