The temple is an ancient and famous temple is situated in Jonnawada village, 15 km from Nellore Highway. It was constructed in the year 1150 on the banks of sacred Penna river. Sri Jagadguru Adhi Sankaracharya has installed Sri Chakram in this temple.ఈ ఆలయం ఒక పురాతన మరియు ప్రసిద్ధ ఆలయం నెల్లూరు హైవే నుండి 15 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఉన్న జన్నవాడ గ్రామంలో ఉంది. దీనిని 1150 వ సంవత్సరంలో పవిత్రమైన పెన్నా నది ఒడ్డున నిర్మించారు. ఈ ఆలయంలో శ్రీ జగద్గురు ఆది శంకరాచార్యులు శ్రీ చక్రం ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
