Popular tourist attraction, so it was quite busy. 7 coloured Earths quite spectacular. And you get to see Giant Tortoises close up. Nice little cafe for food and drinks.Full review by Katharine R
Hi - I am visiting Mauritius early next year and am wondering if anyone can advise how far it is from the parking area at the Seven Coloured Earth dunes to the viewing point as I have limited mobility. Thanks for your help.

Hi chris... If you are taking the bus to visit the domaine of chamarel will be quite complicated due to limited public transport on that area due its on the mountain among the forest and a tiny village. If you got a transport which will be more easy, there will be 2 sightseeing on that domain include 7 coloured and the waterfall so the parking area is next to the visiting area only few meters. But remember the domain is very big if you will walk towards the sightseeing site it might be like 1km from the entrance. I hope this might help you. If any more information you could contact me. I live in mauritius

A lot if people are mixing 7 color earrh with another location which hs called 23 color earth and where 2 waterfalls can be visited and alo the longest zipline. At 7 color earth there are some turtles but no waterfalls.
Can those who have been to both 7 colored earths and 23 colored earths both worth a visit? Or if one is enough and the second one can be easily skipped? Many thanks

Hi I was not aware that there was a larger site with 20 plus colours. I can say the 7 colours are well worth a visit apart from the coloured earth there is a tortoise park which is fascinating and a nice cafe. The scenery is very beautiful around the park
